you do realize that i have made over 35,000 posts. and i took two years off.
Slacko.
the basic theory is that i always vote for the challenger to the incumbent.
the reasoning is simple: while campaigning the politician makes all sorts of promises to the people. then when they get elected they become puppets for the corporations.
i think that if all the voters did this in each election for the next decade then the politicians would learn that the citizens are the ones who actuall y have the power . and it is the voting populous that decides whether or no they become career politicions.
the reason that i don't think that it matters who gets voted in is because in america we have a duopoly. the dems and republicans are basically cut from the same cloth.
sure they have a few buzz issues that they seem to disagree on, and if you look closely these issues are usually moot points.
You've got a fair point about the Republicrats and the Demublicans being essentially the same thing except for minor stylistic contrasts. The popular wisdom is that Democrats are less hawkish than the Republicans, but apparently Studies Have Been Done to show that the exact opposite is true.
Callaway, once again you have earned a karma point for archive-retrieving excellence. I owe you one.
