Wireless headphones?
« on: February 01, 2010, 06:01:35 AM »
My mum wants a pair for listening to the tv, so that she doesn't miss things when she goes to the kitchen, but I'm having trouble finding an affordable pair with good reviews.  At £60, Sennheiser RS-120's are at the upper limit of what I'd be willing to pay, but even they have very mixed reviews, with people complaining about hissing, poor fits and blasts of static.  Does anyone know of a model that combines quality and affordability?

The reason she needs headphones at all is that her partner needs headphones so that he can crank up the volume without deafening the rest of us, and mum then needs to wear a pair too since otherwise there's a lag between the sound coming from the headphones and the TV speakers that bothers her partner.

Never had any but check out the frequencies they are on that's were the static and interference come from

I have never used them myself, but these are supposed to be pretty good, unfortunately they're too expensive, though:

You could even get an additional headset for less:

I wish I could ave some for my ipod so the cord doesn't get caught all over everything.
Those commercials on TV are full of shit. You can't dance around with your ipod headphones will get stuck on things around you.
It's annoying going for a hike in the woods with one. Well when I go off the trails.
