That one means "baked," according to what appears when I point my mouse at it. I am guessing "baked" is a more advanced state than "stoned."

Plunger coffee? What's that?  :blonde:

It's where you mix boiling water and ground coffee together in a carafe. Then after the grounds have had sufficient time to draw, you depress a plunger to force them down to the bottom of the carafe, where they are held separate from the liquid coffee. Made in this way, plunger coffee is different from either drip-filtered, percolated or espresso coffee.

Interesting, yet (somewhat) labor-intensive!  Does the coffee taste especially good when made this way?

Not to me, it tastes a bit harsh because the ground coffee beans are just steeped in hot water.

To me it's less labour-intensive than mucking about with paper cone filters, where the hot water must be poured over the ground coffee in exactly the right amount at the right pace. It's true as Eclair says, though, that the taste of plunger coffee can be a bit rough. Especially if it's allowed to sit for too long (as I found out to my chagrin day before yesterday; even lavish amounts of hot milk couldn't rescue it).  :zombiefuck:

I have a little coffee maker...I just pour water into it, and never get scalded!

I didn't drink as much  :coffee: today as I usually do...
