Yup. I haven't filmed lots of them yet (lack a camera of my own and haven't been arsed to buy one), but here is a test of a single red star last year. You shoot it from a so called star gun, which is simply a metal pipe with black powder as a lift charge and a visco fuse.

The "secret" in the intense light and colour depth is to combine a very powerful fuel - magnesium - with a very powerful oxidizer - potassium chlorate. The colour itself comes from strontium nitrate.  8)

1976 in the states was great

Bicentennial year!  My sister and I had homemade skirts in patriotic colors.  :hyke: :hyke:

I watched a lot more TV, when the cable wasn't shut off.

I spent hours sitting in the little crawlspace between my bed and the radiator,
listening to my little radio.  Or I watched our shitty black-and-white TV with rabbit ears.  :tard:

I used to be into music a lot more than I am now, I remember taping songs off the radio.

I watched a lot of Star Trek and made my garden into an actual garden from what started out as a sand pit.

It's e v i l.

Too much to do now. Pinterest and Youtube are the spawn of the devil.

Wow...maybe I'll build a furniture out of pallets this morning.

Later, I think I'll re-cover my sectional.

While I'm at it I'll tile the bathroom floor with pennies.

After I have coffee I'll make my own rag rug.

Think it will rain tomorrow? Maybe I should make a rain chain and hang it from the gutter.

Windchimes from spoons, I need to find old windows and build a greenhouse, I should paint that ugly drop ceiling black, tie dye more t-shirts, and save my wine corks to make stuff with....

Shoot me, shoot me now. :tigger:

You won't have time for that. The internet demands all your devoted attention.

My mum is a huge fan of Pinterest. She gets a lot of her mosaic and copper foiling ideas from there.

She is also better at Facebook than I am. Pretty good for 70.
