So far: Marston's Single Malt - bit of a 'concept' beer, brewed using only Golden Promise Scottish malt. Unfortunately its crap. :thumbdn:

 :sheep: Black Sheep Ale - Hoppy, crisp, well balanced Yorkshire bitter. Yay! :beergrin:

Holts Thunder Holt - Fruity, sweetish, light bodied premium ale with a nice dry finish. Not three bad. :glug:

Thwaites Lancashire Brown Ale. Had to grab some, last night, Dunc. It made a great breakfast, just now. You are right. It is tasty and a bit thick/viscuous. I love it.

I thought that one would hit your sweet spot. Another you might like is Cains Dragon Heart - I'll let you know if its worth hunting down when I've tried a bottle. :beergrin:

Had two others before turning in last night -
Worthington White Shield - bottle conditioned original IPA. This is fucking superb, and should make even Scrapheap's fussy tastebuds dance.  8)

Freeminer Speculation Ale - another bottle conditioned one which turned into a beer fountain when I opened it, and turned out to be really fucking good as well. A complex, hoppy, spicy, well balanced beer with loads of fruity flavours, a light body and just generally ace. This will be a great summer beer, I'll have to try and get hold of more of these. And open them into a glass.  :laugh:
