Till I can have my glass of sherry or wine or other liquor at nightime after supper.  I gave them up for Lent in sympathy for my wife who gives up coffee.  Sunday we both get our vices back! ;)

Had half a dozen cans of Cains 'Joseph Jones Strong Ale' - very moreish and a good, if quite strong, session ale. Bargain price, surprisingly good smooth tasty beer, and I'm pretty sure this fucker has made it to the US. :glug: Also forced down *ahem*  a Thwaites Lancashire Brown Ale, and finishing off with a Holts Fifth Sense premium bitter while in chillout mode. Yay for being in Northern England! :beergrin:

I should cut back, myself. I really need to lose weight, if only so that the sleep disorder improves and I'm not so fooked all the time. Anyone got any willpower I can borrow? Or a hypnotist to convince me that I love strenuous exercise and that meat pies are the work of Satan's little helpers? :eyebrows:

Why not give up something that you dislike instead? Wouldn't that make more sense?

Faith is a matter of choice, I just do it in empathy for my wife who gives up coffee.  And also as a matter of health, it does me good to go without alcohol for awhile.
