Maybe you could get a tattoo of earring studs on your ears. Then you would not have to wear earrings.

that is actually a good idea. i am allergic to piercings, so that is a nice alternative.

Although if I were to get a tattoo, it wouldn't be some generic, boring design from some book. It would have to be something special, like an album cover or an '81 Pontiac Trans Am.

permanent, yes indeed. you can have them removed but it extremely expensive and leaves a scar.
