I don't watch much tv, not even news - that is too depressing. I have always liked watching the weather news, though.

Don't watch too much TV here either.

What happens is that someone comes along and makes a really good show that is a hit. Then everyone else thinks to themselves that they want a piece of that action and think that they know the formula to that show success.

That's why after the first series of Survivor that there was a million of those type of shows. What they didn't realise that a lot of that shows initial success was because there was nothing like it before.

I like mostly shows on history or science and don't watch many regular shows.  I just see the adds and wonder who does :-\

Have they run out of ideas or just want to play it safe?  So many lame shows on that might be interesting for a show maybe two turned into series IE Ice Road truckers, Axe Men ect Not to mention the million real estate and design shows

The worst ones I have seen is "Cake Boss" "John and Kate Plus eight"and a show about being a lumberjack  A LUMBERJACK!!!!!!!!!!!! A FUCKING LUMBER JACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They need to make a show about watching paint dry or watching grass grow.

They already did, and do.

On Xmas Day, one of the local stations spent four hours airing a Yule Log burning in a fireplace. It's now a tradition.

And don't forget the Fish Channel! Someone back in the 1980s had the bright idea of pointing a vidcam at a fishtank and leaving it on. It got good ratings.

I actually enjoy that. It's like having my own fireplace in my room. I have a fireplace app on my ipod touch.
