Plans for New Years Eve?

I know for some of you, it's already 2010 *since you're in the future, can you tell me if this year will be better for me than last year?* :green: but what is everyone doing to celebrate? or what did you do to ring in the new year?

I'll be back at the hotel with a bottle of wine after I'm done my round at the hospital. Quiet night in for this chica. Probably pick up some snacks on the way back and watch a movie.

Mind you, we used the internet on our 50" Plasma. I had to zoom all the text up so we could read it. It was that or we'd have to break out the binoculars.

Was originally going to go to a party being hosted by a prof of mine: a band jam, since her husband and two sons are all heavily into music and the local rock scene. Was going to go with a friend of mine from work but she wasn't intending on staying very long, and since she'd be driving that would mean I'd be going wherever she was going afterwards. Which sounded to be like some drunken parties and, frankly, they're not my gig. Bunch of 20-somethings drunkenly hitting on each other. Nah. --Now the garage band jam, that was a different story.

So I think I'll just be crying off tonight, staying in and having a quiet night. Not even sure I'll be up till midnight.  :lol:
