Death road running past my village. I can see it, looking out of my window. Starts getting dangerous a kilometre from here. Past five years four people died, at the same spot. Three from the small village I live in. And lots of other accidents there. One kilometre further from there, farmers had signs in their pastures, telling they had seen enough lethal accidents by now. Its even more tricky there.
It's a fact that mortality rates in traffic are calculated to be measured against economic progress. Cruel, but that's how it works. Would not mind a bit more safety. I think it is worth the costs.
