Papillion, NE (The Weekly Vice) - Two little pugs from Nebraska are up for adoption after they were forced to survive for weeks alone by eating their deceased owner who died of an apparent suicide.According to police the two dogs, Harry and Sally, were forced to live alone for two weeks after their 51-year-old owner died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head. The dogs were discovered when a neighbor noticed there had been no tracks in the snow leading to and from the home and called police. No dog food was found inside the home, leading police to believe the dogs survived off of the corpse of their owner. There was no actual blood or tissue found on the dogs, according to investigators.Neighbors say the man lived alone and was not seen much. Apparently his dogs were his only companions. The Humane Society now has ownership of the dogs and plan to adopt them as a pair. They will be updated on their vaccinations, examined, and tested. They are lovable animals and are ready for their next owner, who will be informed of the dogs’ history.
But see a good appropriate dog thread
If I had the money I would take them in. Why should they be punished because their owner was a selfish douche bag? You gonna off yourself whatever, but at least have the decency to give away your pets before doing it.
