Oh, and I also have to spend some time writing down everything I want to address at Adam's IEP review tomorrow cos the shitty school are still not following it- I'm just more depressed than angry about it yet and I need to get angry before I can tackle it.
i just wonder why you have to work so hard to get professional to do their job.
You know how to get me fired up about stuff- it doesn't seem to matter how many times we talk to them about it they still don't follow his IEP. At his last big review I came up with one or two suggestions for all the problems he was having and they seemed really grateful (and promised to make sure they followed his IEP).  At the moment I feel the only way I can get them to do what they are actually legally required to do is stand over them to make sure they fucking do it. 
fuck them!
at my girls IEP everybody signs the agreed upon paperwork.
that is what we call a contract.
if i were you i would show up about ten minutes late (to make sure everyone was there already) and i would walk in and slam my fist on the desk and break into a rant (talking very loudly and refuse to be interupted).
i would point out at least five instances that they were in breach of contract (10 preferably) and inform them that this is the last time you will remind them how to do their job. the next time you will be contacting an attorney and suing them all for mental duress of adam, and your entire family.
point to each person in the room and let them know that they will personally be named in the lawsuit.
also, in america, after you go through the stages of complaints (upp the ladder), you can also sue the school district to pay for private education of your child. i do not know if that option is available to you.
bottom line: they may not like you, but that doesn't matter. all they have to do is what is right by your son. and remember that each one of them will probably waste double the time you have wasted trying to figure out if you even have a case against them. they waste one minute of your time, then you waste two of theirs. they waste too much of your time, then they get to pay with their skin.
i hate taking thjings to this point but i have and i will again. i don't like being ignored.
just a suggestion. a calmed and reasoned course of action, i think.
