Still reading Secrets of Self-Hypnosis, I've been taking myself into practice trances this week and will begin getting into the real serious hypnosis to deliver suggestions to my unconscious soon.  I think this is going to lead to a lot of self-improvement in myself, I'm pretty impressed, this guy is a good teacher.

Also been reading "The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists" which is not a how-to book but about the story of some guy who got involved in that whole "Speed Seduction" community and his experiences.  I had read about this group online before but I had pretty much written them off as being a bunch of misogynists/hucksters, which as it turns out is sort of true and sort of not... the shit works, but its like the guys' lives actually self-destructed cos they got so addicted to picking up chicks they ignored their careers, etc. and some of them were blatantly misogynist (one scumbag in particular said something like the only lie I've ever told a woman was "I won't come in your mouth"  :-\) and others seemed to hold onto their romanticism, its a very interesting read for just about anyone I think

It was good, but not mind-blowing the way some people were describing it, it has a very different unique style though, I liked the layered narratives.
