Like OH. MY. GOD! I TOTALLY had Aspergers in the 80's too!! Like how cool is that? See, I was like born in the 70's and I'm pretty sure I had it when I was born. Yeah, so that's just like cool. I'm way excited. We can be like best friends now.  :asthing:

Does having AS in the 80's able to be used as an excuse for some of the deplorable clothing I wore?  :P

Works for me. :2thumbsup:

I just lived in a big black knitted jumper, or in kind of purple harem pants with a matching vest. Not that bad. And shoes that just fitted like a glove. Not ashamed for what I wore then. The seventies though........

:agreed: 70's clothing was about as tacky as it gets. Styles from the 80's were a quantum leap improvement.  8)

Absolutely.  The hairdos also fall in that category, btw.

I remember the 70s! I wore lots of polyester back then! And the most popular colors for awhile were this brown called burnt umber (I think), avocado greeen, and harvest gold! ;D

My parents had a dishwasher installed around 1970, and the door of it is avocado green. :2thumbsup:

My Mum bought a matching washer and dryer in a colour I think she called burnt orange in the 70's.

YES!!!!!! Of course! I remember that color now, how could I have forgotten!
There was a period in the 70s of autumn-leaf colors dominating the decorating schemes in people's homes...
