G'day Matarick and welcome. I've been an Aspie since 1955, and have therefore had nearly three extra decades of wondering "What the FUCK! is wrong with me already?" and blaming my difficulties on everything from my upbringing to the phases of the frickin' moon. The Asperger's diagnosis is the best fit. It doesn't explain every single thing, but it answers a lot of questions.
I understand the impulse to be winsome and lovable, but doing that for too long at a stretch can cause internal discomfort. Unleashing your inner rat-bastard every so often is therapeutic, and is likely to be better-tolerated here than most other places on the Web (up to a point, of course). Hope you have fun here.
