What's  your favorite ethnic food?  Ethnic dish (non-female)?

I like Malaysian and Tex-Mex :)

Do you cook it yourself or are there many Tex-Mex restaurants where you live?  I mean, I expect to see them on almost every corner here where I live, which isn't that far from Mexico, but I wouldn't think there would be that many Tex-Mex restaurants that far away from Mexico and Texas.

I do occassionally but never as nice as what is in the takeaway places. We have a Mexican chain called "Zambereros". They do great food but I still like "The good the bad and the Ugly" in Perth.
There is a place called Paprika near where i work that does great Malaysian food. I am a regular.
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

It is OK in a stew but not really much for a steak or anything. Bit bland and gamey.

I had a burger made from Bison that gave the same impression. Now I don't eat burger because of that pink slime shit. Am I going to be able to find exceptional fish and chips in Oz? Brits and Kiwis do it well.

You know that is the bastard. it is real flip of the coin stuff here. I would like to say that all  the fish and chips shops or restuarants dop it well but the truth is generally it is either REALLY nice or ReALLY bad. I am not a great fan probably because of the bad experiences i have had :P

Fosters? Fuck no. No-one drinks Fosters in Australia. I think they stock a small supply for tourists.
Here Crown Lager and Victoria Bitter are more or less staples. rock up with a carton of that under your arm and you won't look like a knob. Bundy Rum is pretty popular too. I drink Bourbon and Cola and that is acceptable too. Vodka and kalau and stuff like that is fine...if you are female. A guy will be discommunicated from a party for such a sin :P
