They were one of those bands from the Seattle/grunge era, with members from Pearl Jam, Screaming Trees, and the lead singer from Alice in Chains (Layne Staley).

I don't recall ever hearing of them before. I'm shocked now that you tell me who made up the band. Huh. Now I know why I love their sound.
