Things you do when bored

I had no energy today and was really bored.  I had to be outside as my son was using the chainsaw and a friend was using my forge bored out of my wits I melted the head of a golf club with a propane touch.  Being bored usefully ends in playing with fire >:D

I need to make a new furnace though if it was to be controlled not hard but time consuming This is my old one




Using aluminum I made this


Bras is a bit hotter but I have graphite crucibles for that

There was a nice furnace in the metal shop when I was in highschool. We made a mold of a dude's face. It came out kind of halfway and looked weird, but when we polished it up, it looked like the liquid metal dude in Terminator 2.

I like to take the things off of those manholes and throw them in the bush. Or haul them home and display them in my art shack.

Sometimes when I am bored I take some of my guns that I haven't shot for a while out of the safe and field strip, inspect, reclean and lube as needed. Also an inventory is in order every once in a while.
