I couldn't do that. I have trouble breathing when I am near cats, which is why I can't visit my sister often. She's got three or four cats.
Oddly enough, though my former landlady's cats gave me some allergic reactions, I only ever got hives
from handling my friend's Devon Rex, a breed which she told me is considered hypoallergenic! 
Ah, you're allergic to Kings, not Queens. Excellent.
So as long as you have a
female successor,
I should be able to remain a Lady-in-Waiting for many years to come!
