Agreed.  I like it because it's like Vern's wife:  hot, fast and cheap.  Vegetable, split pea, bean, minestrone, chicken noodle, gumbo, the list goes on.

I can't wait for winter.  Prince Albert will eat soup only in the winter, so there's no sense in fixing it the rest of the year.

The only way I like lima beans is in my friend's lima-bean-and-barley soup, which she makes every winter.  :thumbup:
