Now I am thinking about the croissant sticks that the local baker makes, which consist of two long strips of puff pastry twisted into a rope, coated with a sugar-cinnamon glaze, and baked till golden brown and crispy. Might have to get me some a them tomorrow.

I've only ever seen knotted pretzels here in the UK.  I now want some cheese crackers or Pocky  :-\
