And in Canada they used to call it an "early quit" when you got to sneak off home early and still get paid for the whole shift. Just as appreciated here as there.

early quit is easier to understand.

i have actually got a shorty each of the past three nights.  i plan to have one for each of the next two days.  the who knows.  i  feel like i deserve them.  i had been on an unlucky streak for weeks.
