It has already happened once, since the last install of the operating system.

Last time this happened, the buggy fucking ATI, "updated graphics driver"  was not yet ready for Prime Time.  I ended up uninstalling it and uninstalling the Windows security update and re-installing the old graphics driver to fix it. ::) That's why it's broken again.

Maybe the last latest "lastest" release of the driver will work, this time.

I think I want a new one.  I'll keep my rubber bumper baby footies I bought for it, but everything else needs to go!

Get a decent Nvidia card instead, Dawg. Their drivers (the ones you get from nvidia.com, not the ones from the manufacturers of nvidia card X) are of good quality, for the most part. ATI sucks, mainly.

Or get Linux and an Nvidia card. ;D

You're so right about ATI. I got a "steal" on this 256MB card which is fine for net travels. Only problem is that when it acts up it really sucks!

I missed a fifty dollar deal on an older 512MB card a couple of weeks ago. Most of the STILL GOOD (!!) cards from last year are being dumped soon. I'll find one.

The kickass Nvidia card I got a steal on at work, right after I started, is in my graphics machine, which is not online. (uhm, you know why it's not ...  :arrr: ...  :eyelash:  )

My Nvidia is definitely an older card, by now. I had to replace a noisy fan, but otherwise it's brilliant.
