It has already happened once, since the last install of the operating system.
Last time this happened, the buggy fucking ATI, "updated graphics driver" was not yet ready for Prime Time. I ended up uninstalling it and uninstalling the Windows security update and re-installing the old graphics driver to fix it.
That's why it's broken again.
Maybe the last latest "lastest" release of the driver will work, this time.
(Yes, I forgot to turn off auto-updates when re-setting things to default, chasing down some EIDE channel troubles.
)
I think I want a new one. I'll keep my rubber bumper baby footies I bought for it, but everything else needs to go!
It's always easier to blame the machine, rather than my own incompetence.
