Ooh, I just had the cure all, a teaspoon of vinegar...gets rid of them every time.  I'm back to normal....well as normal as I'll ever get anyway!

I was at an "Old Country Buffet" once and there was a teen trying to force down a large amount of carbonated beverage so he could loudburp to show off. I looked over at him part way through his second attempt, just as it started to gurgle and out blasts the top half of the drink he was burping, all over the table where his family was trying to eat.

Mark one for the shallow end of the gene pool.

(Not that there's anything wrong with burping, but he was of driving age and yet, his little rebellion was that of a seven year old. Not very inspired, if you asked me.)
