I'm watching a territorial skirmish, between two cardinal families who both want to nest in the same tree. I wonder if they are siblings. I think it is very cool that cardinals mate for life and return to their place of birth to have a family.

I love cardinals. We don't have any here, but I used to be able to do the male aggression call perfectly - well enough that
when my wife was wearing red once, she got attacked by one.
