haha yeah, and to make it even sweeter, we beat them in the last 3 minutes
yeh both goals came from beckham corners
the equaliser went in the box, got knocked about all over the place (i think schmeichel had a shot at one point as he came up for the corner), then giggs hit it and sheringham knocked it in to make it 1-1
then with something like 6 seconds on the clock, we got another corner, same side, beckham curled it in, sheringham got his head on it and solskjaer stuck out his foot and in it went
absolutely amazing
i replayed the highlights of that match (on video) so many times as a teenager, i still remember the words of the commentators and everything
we won the FA Cup and Premiership that year as well. IIRC, Munch were trying to do the same in germany, but didn't manage it coz of us
and yeah solskjaer was brilliant back then. came on as a sub a lot and got many a late winner
we had dwight york and andy cole as well, 2 excellent striking partnerships
attack, midfield, defence, and a keeper like schmeichel. dunno if we will ever have a team like the 99 one. some people have said we've had squads as good since, but i dunno. we struggled a lot trying to replace schmeichel
