The chat functionality is a bunch of tables unchanged by a forum update, plus some nifty software that does its thing separate from the board itself. The themes contain the links to the application (the chat buttons), and I thought those might disappear. But it turns out that nothing happened when I updated--we're running 1.1.5 now. ;D
