well if your family isnt that bad to live with, do it. besides theres nothing wrong with living with your parents!

Of course you can. its tablet/netbook to come think of it, and I must say, I really love using it.
Yet i havent had any problems with it apart from i can't download songs from the Internet.

For the smallest one, it's about £429 for the 16gb i believe, id check on the apple website, but my one however came up to over £600 since i got like the 64gb and the one with 3G features.

Personally don't see the point in the 3G features when you can only use it for the internet, yet it has saved me from when my Internet goes down so i give a thumbs up for that one.

No, i haven't even seen a single scratch on my iPad yet, and i have only very little scratches on the screen of my iPod touch, but i also got the case for it too so i don't end up scratching it.

There is this thing called invisible sheild that you can get for the iPad, you'd be rather amazed how it really works no matter how much times to scratch it.
