Really?   and here's me thinking that every aspie achieved the success of Bil Gates , Einstein, and Speilberg.

None of them has an official dx. There are lots of rumors about both Gates and Spielberg, but so far they've not confirmed anything. And Einstein, of course, died long before Lorna Wing coined the name Asperger Syndrome.

And she disowned it because the research behind the label was shite. Nya nya.

Suck on that, esme.

You're probably not autistic. So where's your supremacy now, "aspie"?

Hey, I didn't speak until I was four, not two, so I'm par with the likes of Dhanlow. I'm HFA!

And I like Danlo.

So, anyway... when are you going back to your "fantastic" life, where you have "lots of" friends, feeling good about yourself (that's bull), and your IT job? Tum-dee-dum.

If you stay here too long, our loserness might catch onto you.

Anywho, I'm bored with you. Time to have my fun with your dog:

I'm feeling more and more like this too. I'm sick of it all. What's the good side for me? I don't have an "Einstien brain" or special gifts that mkae me a genuis. I have all the drawbacks of AS with none of the advantages. Sometimes I feel like I failed as an NT, failed as an aspy, and failed as a human being.

And you still are, Panda. You still are.

Do you have anything constructive to say or is infantile the only level you function at?

What's your rationale for my being 'probably not autistic'

I am interested to be interacting with a person who is HFA - perhaps what you class as my apparent non-autism is just
the difference between AS and HFA?

I never said my life was 'fantastic', just that i am a lot happier in it now than previously.  I do not have 'lots of friends' either

My IT job seems to be riling you for some reason - why is this?

Nessa   :)

She's not the real founder anyway, Asperger himself defined the condition

talk about a snappy response.   ::)  I've been sitting here waiting 20 minutes for the savagest comeback imaginable and that's all I get for my trouble?  I dunno why I bother, I really don't.

Common misconception. Some of the symptoms match, but that's all. Autistic psychopathy, I think he called it. The condition he studied and described in his paper was probably as much what is defined as HFA today.
