How did you come up with your username, and what does it mean?

Celtic has to do with my ancestry and goddess was a play on my profession. "Domestic Goddess" Anytime I'm asked on a form about what my job title is, I refuse to check off homemaker or stay at home Mum. I've always crossed them out and written Domestic Goddess beside it. It reflects my personality more than a 1950's housewife title.

I was wondering who you were on WP. As I recall, last time I talked to you over there, I was quite supportive of you and LB after you presented your side of the story of what went down between the two of you. Merely suggested counselling since neither of you sounded happy with the current arrangement but still cared for each other. Tell LB I say hi.

Did you guys ever look into counselling? The thing is, love has conditions. Some of the shit that has gone down between you guys is highly toxic.  You're good at pushing each others buttons to the extreme and healthy relationships don't function like that. I know how much you love her, but I do worry. About both of you. Sorry to go all psychoanalytical. I just think you both have the ability to break the cycle you keep falling into if you're taught the right tools. *steps off her Dear Abby soapbox*

I do agree that the SS deal has been a huge nightmare to the extreme and has been going on for a ridiculous amount of time. They've been awful to her. At the same time, remember that there are battles she has to fight on her own. You can't always be there to rescue her. If you always do that, then she never learns how to fight for herself. It's okay to be her safe place, but to be the one to runs in to her defence isn't good for either of you. I wish you the best of luck.
