A basic problem is that anything we post about ourselves on teh internets can (and often will) be used against us. The basic rule, therefore, should be that if you don't want someone to use a particular piece of information, don't go public with it. It's not fair and it's not nice, and we should be able to trust our fellow spazzes, and the vast majority of people here would never do such a thing, but it only takes a single idiot to create a mess.
So I can certainly see Renaeden's point. But there's also the fact that she's a nicer human being than most.
