1. An opinion is neither right or wrong. There's no such thing as an "invalid" opinion.
2. There's a thing called personal preference and subjectiveness. Someone might think Band A is god but band B is shit, but the other could think otherwise. Neither are right or wrong because they're only opinions.
3. I can say they're shit because I have listened to them and frankly did not like it. You can think otherwise. I'm not forcing you to believing they're shit even though I think they are.

Again, i'll say, the reason I have them, is cause I like them, or were interested in them.  Not cause its a fashion to listen to them.  If someone asked me what I like, they'd get a wide variety, if someone asked some of my friends, they'd probably think they were talking to clones.
