Plastic in plastic surgery comes from the greek word "plastos" or "plastios" or something, which means reshaping. It has nothing to do with the material plastic.

The surgery I've had done is by using my own materials only. Fat and skin from my own body.

I do have a really awesome cat though, and also a tortoise, dog, gecko and two zebra finches. But we're all experiencing an existential crisis right now
