I feel ya.  So much easy ground to cover, but what's the point?

Generally like thinking about economics; no point needed. Just tired today.

Generalising to a single entity does work. It's just enough to produce a terrific argument based on faulty assumptions. No-one will notice.

I'm just stating that corporate venture only works in the current paradigm. If libertarians and the like had their way, their hopes and dreams would die right out of the gate.

And you're generalising again.

How so? Every libertarian I have ever had a conversation with expressed that they would like to remove government from the market, but then sing praises of a free market and how wealthy they could become in it. I have talked to a LOT of them, and they are never able to answer me when I tell them that this means everyone will have the right to compete freely in the market in a "free market", which means corporate venture cannot exist.

Honestly, mate, if you can't see where your generalisations in the above are, there's little point for me to point them out.
