Heh, you sound like me sort of. I can play the social scene quite well when needed, and have a reputation of being manipulative and yet charming. However I prefer to be left alone, have no social obligations and just do my own thing. But I suppose the difference is that I'm High-Functioning Autistic, not Aspergers.

i can hide my aspergers completely on the internet i think

and in my head i can be NT alright, but then when i try to put it into practice i fail every single time

people say they can't tell i have an autistic thing, but i'm pretty sure i do come across as retarded in some way or othe

whatever though - the only thing that annoys me about it is all the women i like are too cool for a retard to get :thumbdn:

although if i get rich one day, i could get all the women i want

I talked to my AS support person today. She says that I can hide my AS pretty well but there are things I do that are typically autistic that give me away, at least for a trained eye.

That's true. the max amount I can get is around $1900 or £1200 a month, because of different things you can apply for. Or rather could apply for. Rules are stricter these days but when I got my disability approved it wasn't that hard to get and most of the things I get are permanent/for life after being approved. This was the way the system worked prior to 2003. After that they changed it but the people who got disability before that are "untouchable" because it's permanent and counts within the system for elderly retirement. Today, disability is handled differently and is time based, you don't get the same nice addons as easily etc.

Also take into consideration that living is cheaper in Sweden than in the US or UK in general. This is the reason I can afford plastic surgery and a luxury wardrobe.

I got permanent disability in 2000.  8)

I still haven't got a "Green Card" for dental care, though. My home town violates the LSS; I'm entitled to dental care for at most 900 kronor/year per se, since I have one of the diagnosises defined by the LSS.
