Yup, over 6", they become very heavy. A 6" is maybe 150 grams (5 oz).

Well, to start with I probably wouldn't get a license. It's very hard to get a license for manufacturing fireworks in Sweden.

Secondly, I'm not that skilled in pyrotechnic as an art yet. I'm pretty good at building exploding devices, but I'm still an amateur in making beautiful effects.

Should approach a firm and see if they will train you up. Have you tried that yet?

i dont know about europe, but here in the us it is extremely hard to get into pyrotechnics. you have to know someone in the business thats willing to train you, and be able to pass extensive backround checks.

It's about the same here. You can get education by a guy in southern Sweden, but it's not sure at all that you'll get a license. The authorities want as few people as possible involved in making fireworks.

Well aparently private ownership here of any fireworks or similar devices is now completely banned. People have til the end of the month to get rid of them.
