Plus, baseball is fairly popular around here. Dutch pro's aren't that bad at it too. Mmmm, not so much with Am. football, I think.

With not a good eye for round objects at fairly high speed, baseball was one of the things that made me dread PE at school. It was baseball or softball 70% or more of the times we had PE.

Actually, as a boy in my schooldays, I wasn't that bad at baseball. I liked playing the game quite a bit too.

Um, albeit I've played football (i.e. soccer) for a couple of years I never was any good at it. Tennis was the game of choice here. Won some prizes in the regional tennis competition also. No kidd ya.

Suppose I'm not really a group-sports kind of fella..

Hope Van Persie will be at his best (again). He kinda lacks form at the moment.

Oh, chapeau.. for the US soccer team. They played attractive football. Hope Americans start loving soccer more. It's quite an intelligent sport and can be quite nicely entertaining, IMO.

We have sports already. Perhaps Europe will start loving baseball or American football.

It doesn't seem likely, does it?

No. Cricket and rugby aren't as popular as European football.
