Woman Threatens Workers With Shampoo For Drugs
Shelly Prindle Concealed Shampoo Bottle To Make It Look Like A Gun
CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP (KDKA)
An Oil City woman was arrested for attempting to rob a Rite Aid Friday afternoon.
According to police, Shelly Prindle initially stole a windbreaker from the Dunham Sports at the Cranberry Mall.
Prindle then entered the Rite Aid and demanded prescription drugs, which the employees denied. She left and returned with a bottle of shampoo concealed in her sleeve demanding the drugs again.
The employees refused to meet her demands for a second time. At that time, she raised her arms as if she was concealing something in her sleeve. She then began threatening employees saying "Give me the Xanax, or I'll blow your brains out."
She demanded the staff to get on the floor and that "this is not worth dying for."
Prindle was arrested and later arraigned and is currently being held at the Venango County Jail after failing to post bond.
