Apparently I said something that someone else found offensive. When I asked them how I should know what was or wasn't ok to say, they told me to just think about whether or not I would find that particular statement offensive if said to me. I told them I couldn't think of anything that I would find offensive. Weird, yes. Disturbing, possibly. Reflecting the speakers lack of intelligence, almost definitely.I think I'll probably fit right in here. For the most part I like people (although there are days that I hate them as a species), but given enough time I will probably say something that will tick you off. Not on purpose. It's just a talent. I've always believed that opinions are like fecal discharge orifices. Everybody has one, and mine is the only one that doesn't stink.

...or anus if you prefer.

I see your book is based in Minnesota. Have you lived in Minnesota, or just a random choice of location?
Where did you live? I was born and grew up here, went off and saw the world for a while, and came back. I love it here, it's a great place to live.
