Apart from the obvious,  it used to be my Kennel Club name in the UK many years ago.  Stopped using it when we switched to American Bulldog's because they aren't KC registered in
UK and come with their own American papers.  Still liked the name so that's why i use it

Lol, yes she was  :viking:   I liked her because she and her army got absolutely drunk out of their minds after the battle (in true celtic style)  and i know
that led to her defeat -  but it was just such a 'human' thing to do..

i prenounce it as   Boad-a-sea-a

but it used to be Budicca and the  name changed slightly throughout history

this is from my intro thread http://www.intensitysquared.com/index.php/topic,16463.75.html

Ok one Bodaccea story coming up.  Before i begin   i feel its worth pointing out to the reader a couple of things about this period in history.  Celtic women were considered more 'equal' to their men - yes they would go out hunting, fighting and were often seen slapping their thigh downing a large goblet of strong ale!!  Roman women were not!!!!! (equal)

During the Roman Empire England had numerous kings/queens.  They were land owners.  Bodaccea was the wife of one of these kings who owned the land around Colchester. They were from a celtic tribe called the iceni.  The romans came and took over many of england's 'kingdoms'.  They would try and make a deal with the land owner - he kept his title etc but would pay them fees and govern his land under their control.  An agreement such as this was in place at colchester and worked quite well...until the king died.  Bodaccea then became queen under celtic tradition and she expected the agreement made by her late husband with the romans to stand.  The roman's saw things differently and were not going to 'do business' with a woman.  They refused to acknowledge her Queen status and demanded that she give up her lands.  Bodaccea did not comply.  Eventually a huge roman army came and took the kingdom of colchester from Bodaccea.  She was forced to watch them rape and kill her two teenage daughters.  She was then forced to leave. Outcast.

Now this pissed Bodaccea off.  The iceni tribe were loyal and regrouped with Bodaccea on the outskirts of colchester.  She gathered a mighty army.  They were outnumbered by the romans but faught with passion and spirit and charged back into colchester.  They kicked ass.  Despite the odds the romans were defeated.  For a while anyway.  Bodaccea was as chuffed as a dog with two cocks.  They celebrated in true celt style -  they got pissed.  So pissed that they forgot all about the ruck with the romans who had called for backup.  They were so pissed they didnt even see the huge army coming over the hill.  There is no record of Bodaccea's grave.  It is said that she escaped and killed herself with poison.  There is a record of her by one of the roman emperors - she did exist and did kick some ass but i don't know how true the rest of the story is.  It is said she had red, waist length hair and rode a chariot - probably things just added to the story as time went on.  I like the story, and Bodaccea was a bit of a childhood hero for me.  I like it when the underdog wins,
blah blah blah

Mine originated from one of my older names, DJ AshleeD (Ashley Dolan). People kept mispronouncing it as "a Shleed" instead of "Ashley D". Soon the A was dropped and Shleed was adopted.

I've been rage since I can remember, and FFT was my all time favorite game so I added the noble beoulve surname.

The first part is a play on "sock puppet" (I don't remember why; I made it in 2007) and I just like penguins.

"Squid Thing" is a username I coined to troll a star wars forum  with sir les years ago.  :zoinks:

"Sea Tart" just comes from a nickname CBC , and I liked it so much I decided to use it.
I'll just diagnose myself as Goddess of the Universe and have done with it. Hell with autism!  :green: :zoinks:

When I first learned about Aspergers was when I was diagnosed in October.  When I signed up at WP I thought that a diagnosis at 34 was a rare thing (I knew nothing at the time) so by "midlife" I really meant "late diagnosed".  It's a dumb name and I only carried it over for continuity.  I recently dropped to the initials, but will probably be looking at a permanent name change in the near future.  Something with more thought put into it.

I started with Weakling because I was in a stupid weak part of my life.

After a couple of months I responded to a post about Victoria, asking whether they meant the Queen or the city.  It began to have a life of it's own with attendants, royal names for my family, etc.  After a while I asked if I should change to Queen Victoria.  Everyone who responded said yes, so here I am.

I've been Celticgoddess since I joined WP around 5 years ago. Since then I carried it to every aspie forum I've posted on. Celtic is due to my roots, goddess comes from my profession. I say I'm a domestic goddess not a stay at home Mum.

Osensitive1 was self explanatory, as am of course a sensitive and delicate flower. Scrap posted a thread about a fellow named Jack, so changed to Jack because it's a great name and had actually considered it as a choice when joining. It means Jack.
