4 and counting
1986 (?) Ford Tempo
1984 (?) Ford Tempo (I know it was older than my first car, and I know they were both older than me)
1996 Dodge Spirit
1997 Mitsubishi mirage
Thanks especially to the spirit and the mirage I now know enough about what can go wrong with a car to accurately diagnose why my car isn't working right. This is a skill I get to use all-too-often. My cars pwn me, too. My mirage almost prolapsed this summer. That was fun. When I got rid of the dodge, it was sold to a mechanic. Last I heard, he coudln't make it run.
To be fair, my current car has issues in part because Midas raped it a couple years back. Cross-threaded a spark plug; poor car only had 4 to start with, and now it effectively has 3 1/2. Under the best of conditions it woudln't be very peppy. As it is now, when I floor it, it
sounds like a small plane trying to take off, but
accelerates like a fat kid riding a tricycle uphill.
As soon as I feel like I have the funds and it's a practical investment, I'm planning to update to a grown-up car- i.e. one that's less than a fucking decade old and breaks down less than once a month. This is 2010, I'm done with school, and I should be done with high school/college student cars (i.e. shitboxes).

Christ, am I the only idiot who has owned 15 cars (sometimes two or three at a time)?
Give me time and I'll catch up. I'm young yet, and have shit luck.

So you know the pain?

37.
Not counting the limo in the garage.
IN A ROW???
