Callaway, hope the whole thing hasnt put you off self catering as they can be a great alternative for holidays.  I find it easier than hotels when travelling because I can have the food I want to eat, when I want to eat it, etc.  There are many lovely self catering places in Ireland and Jersey.  In fact, I was told about some unusual self catering accomodation in Jersey today where you can hire out some small forts, martello towers, etc.

Hi Jman. No, I'm not sure what I'm doing at the moment, actually. Things have been so up and down for me recently that I am looking forward to some stability over the next few months. I have recently moved into my own place (supported living), and I am happy with my current job.

p.s. I'm sorry for bringing up that visa thing yesterday. I heard it as a rumour somewhere on here and assumed it to be true - I should be more careful about checking the source of rumours before assuming they are fact. I didn't intentionally mean to cause you embarrassment. Hope you are in good form and best of luck with whatever you are doing at the moment.
