I did read many years ago that there was a combo washer and dryer, but obviously it never sold well.  I don't know the details about the machine or it's problems.  Maybe a Japanese product?

I saw one in a RV my husband and I were looking at one time.  It was made in Sweden, it held only a few items of clothes, and it was expensive, but it saved a lot of space.

They are still available here, all kind of brands have them. They can't process as much washing as a regular machine, and, in tests, they come out as using far much water than regular washing machines, and the drying results are not that good either.

Even with almost every brand making them, they never got that popular. I guess little amount of washing, to make it dry well, makes it mostly a singles' washing machine.


Can't/Won't afford a dryer btw. Having my energy bill low is worth something.

My ex quit his job not long after we broke up as a deliberate act of revenge at the time and has not worked a day since. So yes, being the sole provider for your children's future is hard.

I also left him with everyhing when I left, so he not only had a wife that left him with everything financially and all possessions, but also one who had to take financial responsibility for the children he primarily chose to bring into the world through his manipulative behaviour.

I've worked some jobs I hated and taken pay cuts for stability at times. Things do pass, but yes, they suck at the time, for sure.

I would love to stick it to her by quitting my job, but it isn't her he gets hurt the most. But I mainly want to quit because I am sinking deeper and deeper and it is affecting my health and everything else. Monday morning just starts a five day quest to make it to Friday evening for a couple of days away. No leave due to countless medical appointments and days when I go in late because I just can't get moving physically and/or mentally in the morning.

I wasn't suggesting you should quit your job. Mentally you won't be able to get going if you don't like your job and are feeling depressed anyway.

I know it's difficult. Is it possible to look for another job?

Been looking for two years now. Almost got hired twice but at the last minute both places changed their mind making me wonder I my current management had influenced them.
