Should I attempt to get back in touch with people I knew in secondary school, or is it a waste of time?

It depends on what they were like back then, and how they treated you.  :chin:

Most of them were cunts but some were okay.  I re-added one girl I was friends with on Facebook.  She was one of the very few who actually bothered with me by the end of year 11.

See how she is now, and maybe add a few more people if they seem promising.

My GP asked me where I wanted to go, to a specialist in rheumatoid arthritis, but, he didn't thing anything would come out, because of lack of swollen joints, redness or clear inflammation, or, to see a hand ergo therapist. I chose the latter. She gave me lots of exercises to relax my hands.
When I went to see her, things were that painful that I could not even write my own name, without dropping the pen. After a few weeks I could write without a problem.
Whenever my hands get painful again, I do some of her exercises. And, that does help.

First exercises were to learn to relax the wrist, and to keep the hand relaxed.
I have never heard of an ergo therapist, sounds similar to what an occupational therapist is, though I could be wrong on this. My fingers are most painful and stiff in the morning when I wake up. Clenching them hurts so I don't do it heh.

Binty, I don't keep contact with any of my high school friends except one and with her I am just one amongst the 1600+ friends on her Facebook page. High school wasn't a good time in my life so I have not gone to any reunions or anything like that.

I don't wear them often but like the option to be able too and have a few in my van also most of the time

What kind of cough do you have (dry? phlegmy?) and what medicine did you buy?  :nerd!:

I bought a generic one treating coughs, colds and sore throats.
My throat is super sore and my nose does need blowing sometimes. The worst bit though is how it feels like someone has put a super tight corset on me and I can hardly breathe at times. It feel like my airway is restricted and I really need to cough but nothing comes up. Not yet anyway.

I'm thinking you should call your doctor about this cough, you might need more than
over-the-counter medicine, maybe antibiotics or a temporary inhaler.  :orly:
