Get a fancy chain for them too, so you can wear them around your neck!   :2thumbsup:

... how to teach a child to take a pill.

I can remember that it took about two years to teach my son to spit (every doctor I consulted assured me that spitting is a natural talent, but they were all full of shit!), like after brushing his teeth and such. It was a fucking nightmare!

I hope teaching him to take a fucking candy coated "ibuprofen" for his headaches will not be so rough.

That's hard.  I tried putting the pill, which could not be chewed or crushed, in a spoonful of ice cream, but that only worked once and after that, my daughter sucked off the ice cream and was still left with the pill to swallow.  I also tried practicing swallowing with sprinkles first.  If it's bigger in one dimension than the other, then it helps to start by lining it up properly in the child's mouth.

I was right. They checked my eyes and set a date for the surgery. :hide:

To work on the scarring damage?

Yes, and attempt to realign the eyes.  My left eye has limited mobility so they are going to fix that, too.
Hope it will work out very well.

Are you wearing prismatic glasses now?

No, I think my doc advised against them.
Why? Wouldn't it be less tiring to have an aligned vision?

Not sure, tbh.
I wear prismatics and I think the optometrist said that they can make the eyes lazy as all the work has been done for them. My eyes still don't align right while wearing prismatics either. My left eye has limited mobility as well.

I think you are lucky to be able to get your eyes fixed, odeon, but I am also nervous for you. It is your eyes that will be operated on! When will it happen?
I don't know what they did with my brother. They made the prismatics in such a way that he had to train his eye muscles, hoping that that was all he needed. The boy was very tired when he wore the glasses, but after a while he did not need them any more. They had combined the glasses with some kind of physiotherapy too.

Thanks for remembering me. I want to train the ladies here too.

I had lots of pill swallowing training as a kid. It being the "hand out anti-biotics like candy days". So, after a while I could.
I did not learn to fully master the art of spitting til after being 20. I could get the after teeth brushing stuff done, but get rid of a fly that happened to find my mouth without dribbling... UGH!, Glad I know how to spit now. Practise shooting with cherry pips has been fun.

What to do next.

You should plant hidden caches of food around your home and work so you never go hungry.

I've worn glasses for near-sightedness since I was 6 or 7, tried contact lenses only briefly. I don't mind glasses.   :checkout:

I cant see a thing without my contacts.

Lets just say that if I tried to drive without them, Id kill a lot of people

Tried that. Things started to smell and only then did I remember where I put it all. :P

Too tall to be Hitler, I think.
