I like having the option to show/hide people's posts... Hell I might put everyone on ignore 
But what difference does it make? In the end you still have the same choice - whether tp read them or not
The only way I can see the ignore mod changing anything there is if someone made a really huge long post, or posted a disgusting picture, and you decided not to show it that time
