Creating what looks to be a jungle is just one of my many ways of "fighting back" against depression. The fact that doing so, while wearing a ten gallon, Texas straw hat and fairly clever snake-skin boots, makes me the talk of the neighborhood and/or a ridiculous spectacle is not relevant to my needs.
Quite the contrary. I'm sure you look quite hot.
I also admire you for being able to be focused on creating something in the garden. I always want to go crazy in the garden section of the hardware superstore...but I'm not sure I've ever quite got my plants right.
It was funny today. I ventured to the big hardware mecca superstore and thought of Callaway - whilst buying Roundup (she always recommends it! - Roundup = Callaway to me now)...
and then I meandered to the garden section and I was wishing I could have some of your sage advice. (Sage as in...wise, not on the herb 
)....anyway....it was funny....here I am in this hardware store, wishing I had 2 people I have never even met, to give me advice. ( I was needing Callaways....and probably your, advice on what size pack of Roundup, and was the big kahuna spray hose job worth buying

Re the no kneeling whilst gardening....I guess you have looked at these and they are still no good for your back?

Cool garden seat. How much Roundup did you wind up buying and how many weeds need spraying?
I bought 3 litres, this one;
http://images.productserve.com/preview/513/51647701.jpgMy garage is at the very rear of my block, and I want to spray my concrete driveway that runs all the way down the left hand perimeter fence. So I'm wanting to spray all the weeds that have come up from the neighbouring property through the fence and attacking my driveway concrete.
It would really be such a shame if the Roundup went through the fence slats and killed any of their vines or trees that are overgrowing up so high over the 6ft fence and now reaching my eaves (ie, facilitating rat movement from their 4 bird aviaries in their backyard into my roof).
Thankfully I didn't spray on the weekend, because we are in the midst of a downpour now. At least that means the rats will have lots of water to drink when they have eaten the poison from the bait stations I've laid.
