I am sure the term weightwatchers is sort of like a misnomer.  If you were really heath conscienous like I am you might discover its a big scam.  Sort of like Ariziona ice tea, that of which has a ton of sugar added.  Good luck though.

It's not a scam. Where have you been? This diet has been around a long time and people have lost a lot of weight as long as they stick to it. I know someone who lost 100 pounds in 6 months from Weight Watchers. It's supposed to be easier to stick to than other diets.

it's probably the support rather than the actual diet which helps the weight loss, to be honest.  although the only diet which really works is sensible eating + exercise (trust me on this - i've been obsessed with same since 1978-ish).

i'm always a bit wary of WW food, though, cos it's made by Heinz.

Currently eating turkey, carrots, an onion, broccoli, tomatoes, sage, rosemary and olive oil.

No pussy for you today, stud? Shame. :(

Nope, not today.  I went out to a nightclub last night, but it was kind of quiet and crappy, and I didn't meet anyone of the female persuasion.

Just curious. What is your source of income now? I remember you were on disability while you were at university (or maybe I'm mixing you with someone here).

With the disability amount I'm getting, I can't afford to go out. Hopefully, that'll change once I get a paid job and meet more people.

DLA and incapacity benefit.  Since I live with my mum, it provides a fairly comfortable income.  Things would be very, very tight though if I moved out.

Do you get any negative comments from people who find out that you're supported by government funds? People seem to target anyone on benefits these days.

It's not a topic I bring up if I can avoid it.

Also, £4 entry and a £2.60 pint isn't really a budget-breaker.  Didn't even have to pay for the bus.

I think I should describe scam, because its a bit extreme.  I am just expressing my frusturations with various companies out there.  There should be no refined grains served anywhere, they have no purpose.  Whole grains taste better anyway. I am talking white bread versus whole grain breads.  I hate white sandwich bread, and that is not only because its unhealthy, its because it taste like shit!  If I was desperate I might he some, but that was before. Weight watchers should not have too much sodium in it either because that willl cause fluid retination unless plenty of potassium is given. Also watch out for fats heated to high temperatures which can cause cancerous by products to form.  Companies say they make diet food but its a misnomer in which they do things like stated above.  Try diet soda, drink too much, and it can have a laxative affect on you.  Too much is defined by amount the indivual can tollerate, which be very small.  What do you expect I trust few people.  I could make a better product then them!  Christ I am a doctor, well not literally.

On another note, congradulate me, I put the effort in to cook some meat.  Yeah for me, and I actually bought some fruit.  I actually cooked some quinoa too.  I cooked the ground turkey up.  My mom gave me some steak burgers too, she is always trying to give me things but I usually reject because she is not too carefull about what she eats.  The fire roasted vegetables had milk and wheat products in them, and she said they did not. I am allergic to casein and wheat I don't know about. She should not have lied though. What kind of fuckn world is it when you can't trust your own mom?  I wish she would buy no salt added vegetables too.  She gave me watermelon one time, I hate it but I ate it anyway and I actually like it this time. My tastebuds changed! That does not surprise me because I am a garbage gut and will eat anything.  Fruits and vegetables are my thing, because I have a high tollerance for them. I ate raw Kale one time and had no stomach problems. My dad ate raw hamburger too and did not suffer.  My dad is not a vegetable eater like me.

The point is it WORKS if people actually stick to it.
