Balders said he made mild gravy, instead of milk gravy, and i was a bit agog at the concept, so, naturally, i extrapolated it.

lol.  no, but there's a certain, bewildered look that people get (and which, sometimes, i even notice), which tells me i'm sounding like a dictionary, and have to remember to use common parlance, if i want to communicate.  luckily, my undergrads have learned to interrupt and ask.  we try and have a "Vivi's New Word" every week, or so.  :laugh:
