If this was a Christian punishment, fully sanctioned by the church, it would actually fall right in line with some of the Bible stories I read when I was younger.

The church is not above the law these days, however, and every member present at a church sanctioned murder would be an accessory to the crime.

If you tilt your head to something white on an LCD, you will see "Haidinger's brush", a faint yellow/blue (or blue/pink) optical phenomenon. It's an indicator that many people can percieve polarized light with their own eyes, ie. LCD monitors because of their polarizing coatings.  :zoinks:

I used to think I was nuts, because I "Imagined" I saw this on my old flat screen CRT, until I discovered that the fancy old Compaq monitor's flat front glass polarized the images in order to do a kind of fake clarity improvement to the funky old system.

I took a quiz on foreign languages and was able to guess all thirteen languages. Couldn't have read most of them, but I can recognize them. Must be all those trips to Europe.

The Grand View Topless Coffee Shop just north of Augusta, Maine was burned down by an arsonist hours after the owner appeared before the City Planning Board to discuss expanding the hours to 0100 and allowing the waitresses to dance as they served coffee.

What is this world coming to that you can't get a cup of joe and see some titties? Now where am I going to get my coffee?
